ESL Support Aide
Gatesville ISD (Multiple Campuses Served)
2024-2025

Assist the ESL teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher. Travel to multiple campuses during the school to to serve students.

 

Education/Certification / Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to speak Spanish preferred
• Associate’s degree or two years of study at an institute of higher learning preferred
• Meet formal academic assessment required by ESSA
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to assist in instructing science, reading, writing, and mathematics
• Ability to work well with children
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Some experience working with children required
